I saw a casting call looking for the following:

trulyamockingbird:

Tattooed, punk, mohawk, Little 5 type of eccentric people. Funky and wild type of clothing

And I felt a sharp pain in my chest. Is that really a group of people now?

I feel like there has always been that image of Little 5.  At least as long as I can remember.  Even when I lived there and was obviously not one of those people, I felt like a guy with a mohawk fit in more than a girl with a prada bag.

I guess what I love (and miss) about little five, is when your standard image is alternative, then it’s easier for everyone to fit in.  I don’t fit in at Phipps Plaza, but I’m just another girl in Little 5.
